Lawrence H. Krampf, Founder, CEO, Advisor, Board Member

Larry is a strategic marketing and communications entrepreneur with 40+ years owning and running NYC and NJ based integrated advertising, digital and public affairs companies. He remains active as the Founder and Principal of Atmosphere Marketing Group, LLC, a NYC and Miami based advertising agency, continues to serve as CEO and Principal of V&L Ventures, LLC, a real estate investment and business acquisition company, and currently after serving on the Advisory Board of GoMo Health has expanded his role with this mission driven company to serve as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Larry pursued his education and extensive career in advertising in NJ and NYC. He graduated Rutgers College with degrees in business, accounting, and art history. After graduation, he worked as an accountant for Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, and then as an advertising executive with Tracy Locke/ BBDO, before founding his own advertising agency, Krampf Communications in 1981.

In 1990, Larry formed Princeton Communications Group, Inc. (PCG) to better service a growing client list. PCG established a reputation for creative excellence and client service and amassed over 200 peer-reviewed awards representing every category recognized by the industry. In 2003, Larry acquired Marke Communications, an integrated NYC based advertising agency and as CEO, supplied vision, guidance, and expertise to every aspect of the operation as well as the driving force behind Marke accounts in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, retail, financial services, insurance, technology, real estate, fashion, and beauty industries.  Larry also acquired and managed Nancy H. Becker Associates in 2003, the first woman owned, NJ based, public affairs firm, with an outstanding record of achievement in the healthcare, architecture, real estate, energy, environmental, financial services, homeland security, telecommunications, and technology industries.

Serving the community has played a major part in Larry’s career. He serves on the Board of the NJ State Chamber of Commerce, Cancer Care, Inc., Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce (MCRCC), Hopewell Valley Children’s Theatre, Past Chairman of the Board of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce and the MCRCC, Trustee for the Garden State Arts Center Foundation, Greater Philadelphia Chamber, NJN Foundation, Luxury Council, NJ Tech Council, BioNJ, NJ State Governors Council, Founding Member of Jasna Polana TPC, Member of the Nassau Club and the Thomas Edison College Foundation, Founding Member of Communications, Advertising, Marketing Association (CAMA), League of Advertising Agencies and Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association.  He has chaired many community events over the years for the American Heart Association (Founded the Heart Walk over 35 years ago), Cancer Care, Foundation Fighting Blindness and was an advisor to the Health Care Quality Institute.

In 2001 The Princeton Chamber named Larry Entrepreneur of the Year.  Larry received the 1998 Community Leader of Distinction and the 2005 Businessperson of the Year from the MCRCC, the 2005 Volunteer of the Year from the YMCA, the 2006 Spirit of America Award from the Boy Scouts of America and the 2009 Cancer Care Award for his 25 years of dedicated service. Larry was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame November 9, 2022.

What I would tell my younger self:

Always better to disrupt than be disrupted.

Take calculated risks. You learn by failing.  Fail fast. Fail forward.
